The Hugo Valentin Centre has as its task to conduct, stimulate and initiate research at Uppsala University and inform about our subject areas, research topics and results. We publish our reserch in seven publication series and one journal. The publications include scolarly reports and books targeting a wider audience of researchers and the informed public.

All HVC publications are distributed through the Uppsala University Library. This includes current and old publiceations, also those volumes published by the HVC:s predecessors The Centre for Multiethnic Research and the Programme for Holocaust and Genocide Studies (until 2009). The series Digital Publications from the Hugo Valentin Centre are only published via the Digital Scientific Archive, DiVA.
